I hate soundcards

Okay, I'm still messing around with ideas for the piano duet I'm dedicating to Dan and Lisa's wedding...

The Concept Thus Far

It's nothing special yet. I haven't bothered to try to match the tempo at all, I'm just archiving the ideas so far. So it's not meant to be listened to and enjoyed... It's supposed to be listened to and have you say... what the heck were you thinking with that bit?

I'll start recording some of my finished works later on. Right now, I've made a project of this one.

The sound card on this PC is giving me hell. So much distortion on the line-in. I can clear most of it up nicely after the recording via software... but I'd really love to be recording direct Line out to Line in... unfortunately, the Line Out on my Digital Piano is too strong for the Line in on my PC... so I've got it connected through the Headphone jack instead, that way I can control the line level via the volume knob.

I know, anyone reading this who professionally records, or has, is likely cringing.
Duly noted, I am looking into a proper mixer + external sound card option.
